THE REVIVAL OF AN INSPIRING EUROPE
New leaders on the block
Join us for this inspiring talk on the kind of leadership Europe needs to re-invent itself.
Where does Europe stand today? Who are the leaders and what kind of leadership has significantly contributed towards Europe’s successes or even a weakened Europe?
Leonard Schrank (Chairman of The American European Community Association) will moderate a panel discussion between 5 experts from diverse backgrounds. They will each give their view on the type of leadership Europe now requires in order to regain strength and play a leading role in the world. There will be discussion around what “strong leadership” entails, e.g. in the EU political and economic scene does this mean acting more boldly with integrity, more creativity, being more open-minded, adopting a longer term sustainable perspective? What countermeasures do they propose on the structures, on decision-making, on governance, on leadership styles …?
Marc De Vos (Director Think Tank Itinera)
Peter De Keyzer (Managing Partner Growth Inc., former economist BNP Paribas Fortis)
Jürgen Ingels (CEO Smartfin Capital and co-founder B-Hive Europe)
Saskia Van Uffelen (CEO Ericsson Belux and Digital Champion België)
Peter Van Rompuy (Member of Flemish Parliament)
Michael Bartholomew (Senior advisor to Google, Facebook and the international law firm Squire Patton Boggs / owner consulting company Bartholomew Advisors)
Leonard Schrank (Chairman The American European Community Association)
